Beautifully decorated rooms with fine views. Despite some minor drawbacks such as the warm room and lack of tea/coffee facilities, our stay at Viewmount House was a good experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the homemade breakfast was really good. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay.

Beautiful surroundings and exceptional breakfast with fresh local produce. Lovely library and lobby to relax in after exploring the area.
Our room was quite small, and the walls were thin, so we could hear the neighbors. the bed could have been more comfortable.

Our weekend away was fantastic. The food was exquisite, with a range of dishes to choose from, and the homemade cheese board was superb. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with plenty of attractions nearby and beautiful views to enjoy.
The lighting in the bathroom wasn't great and the mirror could have been placed higher. However, this was a minor issue and didn't detract from our overall experience at this wonderful hotel.

The room was superb and the bed was so cozy, I slept like a log. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was absolutely brilliant and the food was amazing. It was well worth the price and the menu was very imaginative. The location was perfect for a romantic weekend break and the gardens were absolutely stunning. It was such a lovely and quiet country house with beautiful antiques.
The visibility to the road entrance from one side was a bit difficult, but I understand that there might not be much they can do about it. It can be a bit challenging to find the turn-off if you haven't been there previously, especially coming from a certain direction.

I had an emergency and the staff at the hotel were very good too help me out. The innkeeper, Beryl, assisted me in calling for medical help and she stayed by my side throughout the whole process. Her calm and caring nature provided me with immense peace of mind during a stressful situation. The customer service at this hotel is excellent.
